I’m not bad with managing my time. However, I dedicate my time to things I feel I have to do instead of to things I know God has destined me to do.
For example, my job. I dedicate 8 to 9 hours to my job. But I know the job isn’t what God has called me to do.
I have a gift to write. But bills have to be paid. I can’t spend my time daydreaming and writing. So I end up procrasinating and not doing the things that I know God has called me to do. And because I don’t dedicate time to writing, I feel as if my gift is slipping away.

Dear Amarathine, i do agree that many a times, we have to do things that we need to do – in order to carry on with life, support a family etc…how i manage is, i feel that by working a full time job, i get to use my talents in that aspect (surely, i know you have other talents as well besides writing ) at my full time employment. I’m not at all finding it a waste of my “preferred talent” because my full time job of 8-9 hrs a day gives me the opportunity to serve my colleagues n company’s clients – which is what GOD would be pleased to see.
This full time job is a calling to me from GOD – the way i see it, because through my job, i get to know non believers – people who desperately need, but have yet to know the good news of CHRIST.
There are also skills that this job entail me to cultivate that i can use when i serve GOD in other ways 2.
