Our daughter has been an alcoholic for over ten years. She has been to four rehabs, but once outside she hasn’t finished that part of the program. Her alcohol problem is definitely tied in with sex. Right now
she is living with a married, but separated, man. She is traveling with him, and about a month is supposed to go to Spain as his work is sending him there.
She has soooo much anger and it comes out when she is drunk. She turns up the bottle of Vodka and drinks it. Actually, I believe her anger is
rage. She is totally out of control. Her ex-husband, who is no saint, has custody of their child. They live 1,000 miles away and she seems to be so excited about seeing him (not very often) and then I believe the guilt overtakes her and she gets drunk-ruining her time with him.
She is a felon, and has a job as a server. She is excellent at her work—until she drinks. Then she gets fired.
I have been to AlAnon for a number of years and my husband is emotional and went once. However, he listens to everything I tell him that I have learned that day.
This girl is 40 years old, but when drunk she acts like a teenager, which I understand is par.
I don’t know how many men she has slept with and certainly don’t care to know.
Do you have any suggestions to Christians who have a Christian daughter who always goes to church and her friends go with her and
    eventually are saved?
